.November 6, 2008 Dear Valued Customer: Please accept this letter as notification that on December 31st, 2008, we will be terminating all open charge accounts that have experienced slow paying and negative collection issues. Even if you are not concerned that your charge account is in jeopardy, we encourage you to do what many of our customers have already done, assign an “on file” major credit card to your account. Purchases made against your “on file” number will be automatically charged to your credit card account. This is extremely safe because the full card number is encrypted (converted to a secret code) and never visible to any person or paperwork after it is initially entered into our system. Your credit card company statement will serve as an additional record of your purchases. Having a card on file negates the need for you or your pre-authorized buying agents to carry and swipe the card when making a purchase. Please talk with us if you have questions or concerns. The expenses associated with finding/training technicians and providing the necessary vehicle, equipment & technical support continues to increase. Therefore, instead of continuing to raise your prices, we have decided to reduce the level of service we will provide. Effective immediately, Poultry Plus will not be dedicated to providing 24/7 specialized repair service to an exclusive segment of the agricultural based community, as we have in the past. · We will continue to stock and sell parts for your repair needs. · We will have 2 repairmen employed to assist with calls associated with mechanical problems. Every attempt will be made to answer these calls in a timely manner and as manpower permits but after hours and weekend service will not always be available. Emergency situations will continue to receive the highest priority. Payment is due upon completion of the service. · Unfortunately, we will no longer be available to assist with your electrical or communications problems. o This will undoubtedly create an opportunity for independent repairman, with less bureaucracy and a lower cost structure, to provide service at a lower cost and save you money. o To that end, we would like to highly recommend that you consider calling Michael Spears, a former employee. Michael will do all of his own scheduling and billing and can be reached at 903-746-8265. In advance, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by these business decisions.
Respectfully yours, Sam Gearner Gayle Gearner |
